The Crossbar Mounted DEK does not include lights by default. A DEK Light Bar is available as an accessory.

Yes — The crossbar-mounted DEK is compatible with IBEX crossbars.

Yes — DEK is compatible with select Kuat rooftop accessories like the Piston SR roof bike rack, as well as other gear mounts designed for T-channels.

The Crossbar Mounted DEK requires crossbars. You can use factory or aftermarket crossbars — Kuat does not manufacture crossbars or towers.

The Direct Mount DEK installs directly to factory mounting points and does not require crossbars.

The light pods are integrated into a custom housing and are designed to project light over the hood with minimal glare. They are not intended to be individually repositioned.

Kuat offers a dedicated T-Nut Kit compatible with the DEK platform. Each T-nut features an M8 x 1.25 mounting thread and is designed to slide directly into the DEK’s integrated T-channels.

Customers can use their own M8 x 1.25 hardware with the appropriate bolt length to securely mount their desired accessories.

Yes — optional light pod covers are available as accessories for added protection or styling.
