Description

The IBEX Panel Kit fully encloses your existing IBEX truck bed rack, providing privacy and a shield from harsh elements. Consisting of five separate panels (top, rear, front, left side, and right side), the IBEX Panel Kit is the perfect modular solution for the adventurer who seeks not only security but also quick and easy access to their gear when they need it most.

Gas-spring-operated struts on the side and rear panels provide a smooth and controlled lift while also holding the panel in place so you can use your hands for more important things. When you’re ready to close the panels, an automotive seal around the edges firmly secures them in place to resist dust and water. Simply lock the panels, and you are secure from any prying eyes and would-be thieves.

The IBEX Panel Kit is designed for extreme durability and is backed by the Kuat No Worries Limited Lifetime Warranty. Each panel is constructed to be sturdy and robust, giving you the rugged dependability that you expect in a high-quality overland truck product.

How easy is installing the Kuat Panel Kit on my IBEX truck bed rack?

The IBEX Panel Kit is designed to be installed directly onto your existing IBEX truck bed rack frame. No drilling is required, and all hardware is included in the box. Our detailed installation guide can be found here if you want to check it out.
Do I have to purchase the entire IBEX Panel Kit (all five panels), or can I purchase them individually?

You have three purchasing options for the IBEX Panel Kit. The kit is split into two boxes: you can either buy all five panels together, purchase the two side panel doors as a set, or opt for the top, front, and rear panels as a set. Please note that the rear door and front panel require the roof to be properly assembled.
Is the IBEX Panel Kit available in a mid-height size?

No, the IBEX Panel Kit is available only for the full-height configuration of the IBEX truck bed rack.
Does the weight capacity of the IBEX change with the addition of the Panel Kit?

No. The weight capacity remains unchanged, with a static weight capacity of 1,200 lbs and a dynamic weight capacity of 300 lbs.

Does the Rear Auxiliary Light come standard with the Panel Kit?

Yes, the Rear Auxiliary Light is seamlessly integrated into the rear panel and connects to your vehicle’s electrical system.
Are there any IBEX Accessories incompatible with the Panel Kit?

Yes, due to the way the panels are installed onto the IBEX frame, several accessories cannot be used on the IBEX at the same time with the Panel Kit. The Piston SR Mounts, Grab Handle, Tonneau Cover Adapters, Molle Panels, Antenna Mount, Shovel Mount, and Crossbar Riser / Riser Kit.
It looks like there are special IBEX Accessories that can be used with the Panel Kit only.  Is that true?

Yes, if you would like to use Crossbar Risers with your IBEX Panel Kit, you will need the Crossbar Riser Kit for the Panel Kit.  We have also made special Molle Panels for the IBEX Panel Kit that attach to the inside of the side panel doors.
