No. The Piston ION bike rack does not come with a License Plate Mount, but you can purchase one separately as an accessory.

The standard ION License Plate Mount does not come lit. This is for several reasons. We know some customers do not want to spend the extra money on a lit option they do not need or will never use. Additionally, when a customer purchases the ION Light Kit accessory, it provides everything necessary to light both the rack and the license plate mount. If you do not want or need the option of fully lighting your ION rack with the Light Kit, purchasing the Wiring Harness is the cheaper option for lighting your License Plate Mount. You can buy the ION License Plate Mount and the Wiring Harness together by selecting “with Light” above in the purchasing “Options”.

In some regions (but not all), the law requires that your license plate remain visible when mounted on a bike rack attached to your vehicle. If the bike rack obscures the license plate, you may need a plate extension or an additional plate holder to ensure compliance. The specific requirements can vary depending on your local laws and regulations, so it's good to check with your state's Department of Motor Vehicles or transportation authority for precise rules in your area.
