Offering an additional mounting option for the Varial cargo box, the Kuat Varial T-Channel Mount fits most universal crossbar T-channels. Ideal for users who have oversized crossbars or low-clearance crossbars where the traditional mount won’t fit.

The durable nylon mounts include integrated load strap slots that help keep your gear secure. Each kit includes four T-studs and four mounts and is backed by Kuat’s Lifetime Warranty.

Varial T-Channel Kit FAQs

Can the T-Channel Mount be used with HD or utility crossbars?

If your HD or utility crossbars do not work with the original Varial mounts, the T-Channel Mount may provide another mounting option. Your crossbars must have a T-channel or slot that accepts the supplied T-bolt. Crossbar designs vary, so confirm that the T-bolt fits properly before installation.
Are the load straps included with the T-Channel Mount different from the straps included with my Varial?

No. They are the same load straps included with your Varial. An additional set is provided so the straps can be installed with the T-Channel Mount. Always use two load straps to secure cargo before driving.
Does the T-Channel Mount change the weight capacity of my Varial?

No. Follow the weight capacity specified for your Varial and distribute all weight evenly. Never exceed the lower limit specified by your vehicle, Varial, or crossbars.
