RV Compatibility
The dedicated 2” Piston Pro (2-Bike) is RV Compatible if:
- The receiver hitch is directly attached to the RV chassis, not just to the bumper; and
- The bicycle rack is in a 2-bike (or fewer) configuration with no add-on unit attached; and
- The weight capacity does not exceed more than 42 lbs. per tray.
All other Piston Pro configurations (including the 1.25" with and without hitch adapters) are ONLY compatible with some Class B chassis, such as camper vans.

What are the differences between the Piston Pro X and the Piston Pro?
The Piston Pro does not have integrated LED taillights and does not sport the Kashima-coated piston arms. Other than these two differences, the racks are precisely the same and boast all the same weight capacities
Can I add lights to this rack later?
No.
Can I use fenders with the Piston Pro X?
No, fender kits are sold separately and can be purchased here.
I have difficulty lifting my heavy E-bike onto the trays. Do you offer a ramp?

Is the 1.25” hitch size Piston Pro X compatible with Add-Ons?
No. Only the 2” hitch size Piston Pro X model will allow Add-Ons.
My arms are not exactly level when in the lowered position. Is that okay?
Piston Pro arms may not sit level due to the back pressure on the piston strut. This is the nature of the design and does not affect the rack's function.
How long is the external cable lock that comes with my Piston Pro?

Should I lubricate my locks?
Yes! The locks will arrive lubed from the factory. Each time you lube up your bike chain, squirt a drop or two in the lock on your rack. This will prolong their life and make them easier to use.
Can I use a bike cover/rain cover with my rack?
Absolutely not! A cover would create a significant amount of wind resistance. The extra resistance would increase the strain on your hitch rack, causing it to break.
