Description

Ski and snowboard racks need to do one thing well: hold your stuff safely and securely. The Kuat Grip 4 and Grip 6 ski and snowboarding racks do a lot more - and awesomely. Easy to install on any roof rails, a handy slide-out feature for easy loading and unloading without climbing on your vehicle, and a look that says you don't cut corners.

The Grip 4 ski and snowboard rack comfortably fits four sets of large skis or two snowboards, while the Grip 6 roof ski carrier comfortably fits six sets of large skis or four snowboards. The Grip is constructed with a metal outer shell and covered with a premium gloss metallic powder coat. The Grip provides unmatched strength and a beautiful finish in three outstanding colors to choose from: gray/orange, black/silver, and pearl white. The large intuitive handle is everything and deserves its own sentence.

The GripLock™ rubber securely holds skis and snowboards of varying sizes, and the Flip™ Mounts make installation a breeze on most factory and aftermarket crossbars. Plus, both the GripLock™ and Flip™ Mount systems on these roof ski carriers are fully locking, keeping your gear snug as a bug in a rug.

Can I get my Grip keys to match up with the keys on my existing Kuat products?

Yes! You may purchase a replacement lock and key to match an existing lock you have on another Kuat product.
How do I know if the Grip will mount to my crossbars?

While we cannot say whether or not the rack will mount to specific vehicles, the minimum crossbar width for compatibility is 4.25” (107.95 mm), and the maximum crossbar thickness is 1.75” (44.45 mm). The Grip is compatible with most round, square, and aero crossbars out of the box.
Is the Grip compatible with the IBEX Truck Bed Rack crossbars?

Yes! If you have an IBEX Panel Kit we recommend using the Crossbar Riser Kit for easier access to the crossbars. You can also use the Direct Mount Kit for use on the IBEX T-channels.
Can I mount the Grip to the t-channels on my crossbars?

Yes, using the Direct Mount Kit, an optional Grip accessory, you can mount them directly to the t-slots on your crossbars.
